Terms of Service

Last updated: August 7, 2026

By using PDF Signature Verify ("the Service") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What the Service does

The Service lets you upload a PDF to check its embedded digital signature and returns a verdict (verified, untrusted/modified, or invalid) together with a human-readable "verified copy" and audit report. It is provided free of charge.

2. Acceptable use

3. No professional or legal advice

A green verdict indicates that, at the time of checking, the document's bytes matched the signature and the signing certificate chained to a trusted Indian CCA root. It is a technical result, not legal advice or certification. For legal proceedings, retain and rely on the original cryptographically-signed PDF and, where required, an authorised verification.

4. Availability

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decision made in reliance on a verification result. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Service is to stop using it.

6. Intellectual property

The Service name, design and content are owned by their respective holders. Trademarks of Certifying Authorities (e-Mudhra, (n)Code, Sify, Capricorn, etc.) belong to those organisations and are referenced only for identification.

7. Advertising

The Service displays third-party advertisements (Google AdSense). Your interactions with ads are governed by the advertiser's and Google's terms.

8. Changes

We may modify these Terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at the operator's principal place of business having jurisdiction.
