PDF Signature Verify is an independent, free utility for checking digital signatures inside PDF files. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Controller of Certifying Authorities (CCA), UIDAI, the Income Tax Department, GSTN, any state education board, Adobe, or any Certifying Authority. All such names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility.
Accuracy of results
We take verification seriously and use standard cryptographic methods (OpenSSL) with an up-to-date bundle of CCA India roots. However, results are provided for informational purposes and without warranty. Certificate revocation status (OCSP/CRL) may not be checked in real time, and edge-case or malformed files may not be fully parseable.
The "verified copy" is not the legal document
The green-tick "verified copy" is a rendered, flattened image of your PDF with a stamp drawn on top so it opens cleanly in any viewer. It is a convenience proof only. The original cryptographically-signed PDF remains the sole legally valid document. Do not submit the verified copy in place of the original where a signed file is required.
Use at your own discretion
Any action you take based on a verification result is at your own risk. For high-stakes or legal decisions, corroborate using Adobe Acrobat with the proper trusted certificate chain, or consult the issuing authority.
